After spotting that The Marvels (2023) received the lowest MCU box-office opening ever, we discuss the state of Marvel Studios as 2023 comes to a close. One of us briefly give our personal quick take and reception of The Marvels and how it adds up to other releases this year. We also discuss DC Studios' position for a revamp and what James Gunn can do with his advantageous position. Finally, we discuss if audiences are experiencing super-hero fatigue, fatigue from the formula of typical super-hero films, or both.

In our eighth episode, we take a look at the state of physical media at the end of 2023. We delve into Best Buy's recent announcement where they stated they will stop selling DVD's, Blu-rays, and 4K Blu-rays at the end of the year -- while also look at Walmart's recent uptick of physical media stock in their stores. We process if it's really all doom-and-gloom, or if we're still optimistic about the future of physical media sales. We look at what physical media sales look like for us demographically. And finally, we invited one of our incredible Reddit/Discord 4K Blu-ray members, Chris, to give us some insight into the state of physical media across the pond in the United Kingdom!

It's Halloween Time!!! In our special Halloween episode, we're taking a deep dive into the Halloween franchise, specifically Carpenter's 1978 classic and the recent David Gordon Green Trilogy -- Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021), and Halloween Ends (2022). We give our takes as to how Green's trilogy adds up overall by ranking each of the films. 
We also wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the tremendous support you've given us over the last month. Spooky month is almost over, but we're still going to be focused on pushing out great content on film and physical media. So stay tuned!
